Invited presenter: Dr. Yassin Jomni, Zinnova AB, Sweden. He is an independent researcher developing research related to training and development of AI algorithms for automatic detection of Malaria parasites in digital images of blood smear. Dr Jomni will share his research to business case, and share experiences related to independent research.

In this research project new ML and computer vision algorithms are developed for automated Plasmodium falciparum (Malaria) parasite detection in digital images of giemsa stained thick blood smears. Dr Jomni also provides cutting-edge consulting services in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence Algorithm Design, Embedded Systems Engineering and Cyber-Security with a long experience in the Automotive, Defense and Aerospace industries.
